About Me
I’m Martijn Tusveld, a professional cyclist with over 13 years of experience competing full-time, including 7 years at the WorldTour level and 1 year at the Pro Continental level. I’ve ridden in 8 Grand Tours, including the Tour de France, which has given me invaluable insights into the demands of elite sports.
Throughout my career, I’ve faced many setbacks and challenges, and I’ve benefited greatly from working with sport psychologists. These experiences inspired me to explore this field further, leading me to pursue a degree in Applied Psychology, which I am currently in the process of completing.
My journey has shown me that mental coaching is not only invaluable during tough times but also essential for refining focus and achieving specific goals. Whether you’re overcoming challenges or striving to elevate your performance, mental coaching can play a crucial role in success. My coaching philosophy is built on combining practical experience with evidence-based psychological theory to help clients reach their full potential. What do I need to work with you?
A heart rate monitor is required, and preferably also a power meter. Additionally, a smartwatch can be helpful for tracking sleep, but it’s not essential.
